Job Summary
Conduct emergency obstetric care including vaginal deliveries and C-sections within a hospital-based obstetrics and emergency department setting. Manage approximately 463 deliveries and 1389 visits to OBED annually as part of Iowa's only maternity transport team. Accept assignments ranging from single days to years, with 24-hour shifts running 7am-7am. New graduates and experienced providers are eligible for placement. Weekly deposit of negotiated pay, complimentary housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage are provided. Credentialing and privileging are simplified by your specialized recruiter, with assignment details and time entry accessed via an online portal.
