Job Summary
IoT Technical Specialist at Kyndryl leads and contributes to the design, development, integration, and delivery of highly scalable distributed software in IoT domains. You will coach and mentor engineers, collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to deliver high-quality features within an agile lifecycle. You will identify technical risks and dependencies, communicate them clearly to stakeholders, drive technical debt reduction, address vulnerabilities, and ensure currency of 3rd-party components. The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving for customers’ business and technical needs, and delivering solutions across Security, Systems, Databases, Networking, and related domains using languages like Python and Java, with expertise in embedded devices, firmware, and IoT protocols (MQTT, LoRaWAN). The position offers a hybrid-friendly culture and opportunities for continued learning and certification across major platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled in one or more of the following IoT areas: Programming & Development (Python, Java) for embedded devices and firmware; Automation, APIs & Testing; Hardware & Embedded Systems; IoT Networking & Protocols (MQTT, LoRaWAN, HTTP); Platforms (container-based middleware, device data management on Google partner solutions, IBM Maximo, ThingsBoard); Data Management, Dashboards & Reporting (SQL, PostgreSQL)
