Job Summary
IoT Product Owner responsible for end-to-end lifecycle of product domains, defining multi-quarter roadmaps, and aligning customer needs with business goals. Collaborates with UX, engineering, and architecture to shape scalable interfaces, writes epics and high-fidelity user stories, drives backlog quality and delivery readiness, and uses data-driven methods (dashboards, heatmaps, funnel analysis, A/B tests) to optimize adoption. Requires experience with IoT ecosystems, hardware integration, API coordination, and cross-functional leadership across product, QA, data science, and engineering. Travel up to 5 days every 2-3 months for direct customer interaction. Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of relevant software product development experience; SaaS/data platform/enterprise software background preferred. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to translate hardware data into product decisions are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product development for software experience
- Experience in SaaS, data platforms, or enterprise software
- Experience working with IoT ecosystems
- Vendor and hardware partner management experience
- Travel up to 5 days every 2-3 months for customer interaction
