Job Summary
IOT Engineer (OTA Platform) responsible for designing, developing, and operating the OTA backend and in-vehicle agent across cloud and vehicle domains, owning the OTA platform lifecycle from requirements definition through development and operations, and collaborating across backend and in-vehicle software. Key responsibilities include design and development of the OTA backend (cloud side), campaign management, distribution orchestration, phased rollout with canary deployment and rollback control, fleet management and system visibility, state synchronization, metrics collection, robust update distribution mechanisms, and ensuring reliable delivery under unstable network conditions with delta updates, resumable downloads, and an idempotent system design.
Required Qualifications
- Cloud Backend Development
- Embedded / Systems Software Development
- Experience designing, developing, and operating backend systems for production web services or distributed systems on public cloud platforms such as AWS
- Languages such as Python, Go, or Node.js
- Experience designing and developing resident processes running on Linux
