Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C while integrating them with Node.js backends via REST, GraphQL, and Apache Kafka. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that comply with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and HL7. Develop and optimize scalable APIs using TypeScript, ensuring secure authentication and robust data synchronization with Couchbase and MongoDB. Manage containerized infrastructure on GCP and Anthos, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Required Qualifications
- iOS Development (8+ years)
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
- Strong knowledge of UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and related iOS frameworks
- Experience building healthcare/medical applications (EHR/EMR, patient engagement, telemedicine)
- Backend Development (6+ years)
- Proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript/JavaScript (ES2019+)
- Strong experience with Express.js
- Expertise in NoSQL (Couchbase, MongoDB) and familiarity with SQL
- Strong experience with API design, observability, and system integration
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems
- Experience with GCP, Anthos, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of secure data handling, encryption, and authentication frameworks
- Experience working with healthcare compliance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR preferred)
- Experience with Couchbase or other NoSQL databases is highly desirable
