Job Summary
Bevel is building the Bevel iOS/watchOS app as a fast-moving team in NYC. You will build new features and improvements across the iOS and watchOS apps, implement clean, efficient Swift code, collaborate with design and product to deliver delightful user experiences, and work with HealthKit, WatchKit, and SwiftUI to integrate health and activity data. You’ll debug performance issues, optimize for speed, reliability, and battery life, participate in code reviews, and contribute to evolving app architecture, tooling, and development processes as Bevel scales. The role requires 2–4 years of native iOS experience, proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI, familiarity with HealthKit/WatchKit/Combine/Core Data, knowledge of MVC/MVVM patterns, a strong eye for design, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience building native iOS apps
- Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
- Familiarity with Apple frameworks like HealthKit, WatchKit, Combine, and Core Data
- Understanding of app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
- A good sense of design and appreciation for detail
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
