Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy sessions, and crisis interventions for adults and adolescents in our Physician-directed intensive outpatient program. Develop treatment plans, coordinate discharge planning, and obtain insurance authorizations while maintaining thorough knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement sources. Communicate patient progress to physicians and file progress notes within 24 hours of service. Requires Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, independent LPC or LCSW license, and BLS/HWC certifications. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Independent License in Counseling (LPC) or Social Work (LCSW)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Handle with Care (HWC) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health or healthcare
- Experience developing and administering treatment plans
- Individual and group counseling techniques
- Exceptional communication skills
