IOP Phlebotomist Part Time

Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed at LabCorp in Jackson, MS, with Saturday-Sunday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups; collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests; handle data entry of patient information; process billing information and collect payments as necessary; prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient/specimen logs. Provides superior customer service to patients, completes administrative duties as needed, and travels to additional sites when required. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for accommodation. Role may be in a Patient Service Center or Client office; offers growth opportunities and participation in incentive plans. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
