IOP Phlebotomist

Job Summary
IOP Phlebotomist needed at LabCorp in Mobile, AL. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Responsible for data entry of patient information, processing billing information and payments, and preparing specimens for testing. Maintain patient and specimen logs; provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Requires full COVID-19 vaccination or approved accommodation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and more. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
