IOP Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and paternity tests, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, prepare specimens for analysis, and maintain patient logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm with rotating Saturdays. High school diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy certification or three months of experience necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
