Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, then process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Enter patient data accurately and timely while maintaining logs for patient and specimen information. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties, traveling to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch. This role may be located in a Patient Service Center or Client office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for medical or religious accommodations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
