Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed at Labcorp in Dalville, AL to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across age groups, prepare specimens for testing, enter patient data, assist with billing, and provide high-quality customer service. Role includes travel to additional sites, potential incentive plan participation, and comprehensive benefits; requires HS diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification/ training, strong communication, ability to work independently or in a team, reliable transportation, overtime flexibility, and COVID-19 vaccination status or approved accommodation. Will work in a Patient Service Center or Client office with opportunities for growth within Labcorp.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy program/cert from an accredited agency
- Strong customer service
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Able to pass color vision test
- Pass healthcare compliance requirements (COVID-19 vaccination proof or approved accommodation)
