Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately. Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to patients and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required and work rotating Saturdays. This role is based in Chesterfield, MO, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Candidates must have phlebotomy certification or equivalent training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
