Job Summary
Conduct intraoperative neuromonitoring by meeting with patients pre-surgery to explain safety protocols, continuously reading electrophysiological data, and alerting the surgical team in real time to early warning signs. Interpret complex waveforms, correlate findings with surgical events, and document everything with precision while working side-by-side with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and quality care. This active, hands-on role requires standing for extended periods, transporting equipment up to 45 lbs, and on-call availability. Required Qualifications
- CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of IONM experience
- Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- AHA CPR certified
- Valid Driver's License
- A communicator and a collaborator — equally comfortable working independently or as part of a surgical team
- Schedule flexibility required, including on-call availability
- Exposure to OR environments
- Adherence to safety protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in neuroscience or a related field
- Experience with advanced neuromonitoring modalities
