Job Summary
The SharePoint Application Development Lead is responsible for designing, testing, and developing web-based software code that is testable and efficient, translating UI/UX designs into functional web applications, and providing project/product oversight across client-prioritized development schedules. The role requires recommending architecture improvements, ensuring ongoing maintenance and testing, documenting all aspects of applications/environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, writing clean, scalable code, debugging complex issues to maintain performance and security, staying current with technologies and industry trends, and leveraging Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint expertise. Strong experience in front-end and back-end web development, UI/UX translation, code documentation, and a commitment to best practices is essential. Must possess active TS/SCI clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Compensation ranges from $165,000 to $195,000 annually, with a requirement for a 8+ year track record and a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- Proven experience in web application development
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end web development technologies
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and translating design wireframes into functional applications
- Strong understanding of software development best practices
- Ability to recommend and implement software upgrades
- Experience in software maintenance and testing to ensure continued functionality
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity or experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React
- Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and libraries
