Job Summary
Advise the Student Senate Executive Board, supervise all committees and programs, and act as the liaison between the university and student organizations. Develop and monitor budgets, implement social media strategies, and coordinate training for student groups on event policies, risk management, and facility use. Assist with major campus events like Welcome Weekend and Homecoming, manage speaker contracts, and support the collaborative student development program including leadership development and shared governance. Ensure compliance with university policies, accessibility regulations, and the Clery Act while working evenings and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one year experience in student affairs
- Strong administrative skills, including high proficiency with MS Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret policies
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
