Job Summary
Oversee the full billing cycle for recurring, project-based, and hardware-as-a-service revenue streams, ensuring invoices are accurate, compliant with contract terms, and issued within defined SLAs. Establish, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures for invoicing while collaborating with the Controller and Finance team to align with GAAP revenue recognition policies. Drive automation and efficiency in the invoicing process through better use of ERP and billing tools, identifying improvements in billing workflows and recurring revenue setup. Lead and develop a team of billing specialists or coordinators, setting clear expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and accountability. This leadership role focuses on process excellence and scalability within a $100M+ revenue MSP environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience of Invoicing in an MSP environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Accounting Software proficiency- like NetSuite
- MSP Software proficiency- like ConnectWise
- Account Reconciliation of all Revenue and related accounts
- Microsoft platform- Excel, Word, Teams etc
- Managerial experience- will manage team of 2
