Job Summary
Process, monitor, and track invoices across all commodity lines while ensuring billing is completed accurately and timely. Review system alerts, accounts receivable balances, and sales orders on financial hold to address outstanding items and resolve customer inquiries. Manage shipment receivables by confirming financing for scheduled shipments, reviewing aging reports for cotton accounts, and coordinating with Treasury and banking partners. Submit unapplied receipt confirmations and follow up on payment requirements for shipments. Access online bank portals for documentation uploads and support new system implementations through coordination with IT. Attend departmental meetings, troubleshoot Oracle transactions, and assist Accounting, Logistics, and other departments with research and issue resolution. Complete month-end and year-end procedures, including inventory close and yard reconciliation. This structured pathway to the Invoicing Supervisor role supports the Invoicing Division in meeting operational deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in clerical accounting role
- Proficiency in the use of Oracle, Oracle Discoverer, Microsoft Office (word and excel) and some Access
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
- Ability to work with all levels of management (team player)
- Strong attention to detail, strong organization skills and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines and work under strict time constraints
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workload schedules and flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Posses or have ability to obtain a driver's license and maintain driving privilege
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP financial software experience
- Agribusiness or agricultural background or knowledge
