Job Summary
Invoice & Cost Controller is a strategic finance role responsible for managing the invoicing process, accounts receivable operations, and ensuring accurate, timely billing to customers. He/she also manages project and operational costs, analyses cost structures, tracks project costs from initiation through completion, and prepares budgets/forecasts in collaboration with department heads. Key responsibilities include invoicing and billing management, verify invoice accuracy against contracts/purchase orders/delivery documentation, ensure compliance with customer billing requirements and contractual terms; collections and credit management; customer and stakeholder communication; coordinating with sales and operations on pricing, contracts, and delivery; coordinating monthly closings and audits; and performing regular financial reports for regional/head office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in controller level position
- Leadership and stakeholders’ management capabilities
- Attention to detail and high accuracy standards
- Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI software
- Business acumen and strategic thinking
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
