Job Summary
Create customer invoices, credit notes, and statements by month end while posting daily receipts and maintaining updated customer records. Manage client dispute resolution, resolve payment discrepancies, and build relationships to reach monthly collection and DSO targets through constant follow-up. Coordinate with internal operations for audit support and provide ad-hoc reports on AR status to leadership. This role requires relocation to the Mississauga office in mid-2026 and involves rotating evening and weekend shifts within a laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or similar
- Strong Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Minimum 2 years on full cycle Accounts Receivable processes
- Strong customer service skills
- Must speak and write English fluently
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to present responses to clients, prepare reports and maintain communication with internal and external clients
- Must be articulate
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, while supporting a collaborative, team-based department
- High level of professionalism, maturity, good judgment including discretion when dealing in confidential financial matters
- Must be proactive, self-disciplined and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity with a goal-oriented approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional computer skills with a high level of competence with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and LIMS (asset)
- Must be able to relocate to the Company's Mississauga office following the planned office move in 2026
- Must be able to work in a laboratory environment with potential periods of standing and occasional lifting of 20 lbs+
- Must be available for rotating evening and weekend shift work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains software is an asset
