Job Summary
Invictus International Systems Engineer III responsible for leading analysis of requirements and CONOPS to drive system design and implementation across the full systems engineering lifecycle. Provide technical leadership on architecture development, integration, testing, and operational transition; maintain engineering documentation and plans; guide requirements development and trade-off analyses; coordinate system integration and vendor interactions. Develop and maintain modern infrastructure solutions (cloud environments such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud; server deployment; containerization with Kubernetes/Docker Swarm), implement automation via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible), and build CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI). Create and use scripting solutions (Bash/PowerShell/Python) to automate operations; ensure secure design and compliance; communicate with government stakeholders and senior executives; mentor staff and drive adoption of best practices. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with poly, DoD 8570 IAT II and MCP certifications, and ability to commute to client sites in Colorado Springs, CO or Alexandria, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Current active TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain CI polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline; additional 4 years may be substituted for degree
- Minimum six (6) years of directly related experience
- Experience with Systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible)
- CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI or similar)
- Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Server deployment, domain management, and system integration
- Scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Secrets management and secure system design
- Development of technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams
- Proven ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and solve complex problems
- Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) certification
- Ability to commute daily to client site in Colorado Springs, CO or Alexandria, VA
