Job Summary
Prepare, review, and submit monthly investor reports, remittances, and custodial account reconciliations while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, pooling and servicing agreements, and contractual requirements. Monitor cash movement, advancement requirements, and complex cash, principal, interest, escrow, corporate advance, and custodial reconciliations. Coordinate loan movement and cash settlement activity between the Loan Boarding/Service Transfer group and sellers, acting as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and exception resolution. Collaborate with internal departments to understand the impact of servicing events on reporting and complete special projects as assigned by the Manager. This role supports Cornerstone Servicing's mission to provide exceptional service to clients and shareholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience of professional accounting experience in a mortgage environment
- Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Must be well organized with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
