Job Summary
Investor Relations Specialist at HSBC in Singapore focusing on Direct Real Estate strategies. Serves as the primary contact for existing investors across the region, coordinating with internal teams to deliver clear outcomes, and supporting client meetings, portfolio reviews, and due diligence requests. Prepares regular or ad-hoc client reports, monitors fund performance metrics, and maintains an audit trail and documentation standards. Works closely with cross-functional teams (Investment, Operations, Performance Reporting, Product, Legal and AIFM) to ensure data integrity and consistent messaging, acting as a coordination layer to reduce information silos and improve responsiveness. Operates as a self-directed lead in Singapore, building relationships with senior stakeholders across time zones. Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field and 5 years of experience in investor relations or fundraising within alternatives (Direct Real Estate experience essential), along with strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field
- 5 years of experience in investor relations, client services, or fundraising within alternatives – Direct Real Estate experience essential
- Strong understanding of Alternative Strategies and the investor servicing lifecycle (reporting, liquidity/cashflows, fund dynamics)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- A self-starter who’s able to work independently with confidence engaging senior internal and external stakeholders
