Job Summary
Own service delivery for a portfolio of Hedge Fund Services clients and their investors, acting as the senior point of contact for escalations and complex requests. Build and maintain senior relationships with client stakeholders while leading service reviews and communicating proactively on deliverables, risks, and operational performance. Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent client experience across servicing and Private Equity vehicle support, overseeing investor transaction processing and lifecycle servicing. Lead onboarding, transitions, and scope expansions in partnership with implementation teams, driving resolution of complex breaks through root-cause analysis and remediation. Ensure processes adhere to JPMorganChase risk management policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements including KYC/AML obligations. Lead a strong control environment with maker-checker discipline, reconciliations, and issue management, supporting internal/external audits and control testing. Partner with Product and Technology on system enhancements, change initiatives, and data migrations to leverage operational systems for monitoring service quality and identifying trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6–10+ years of experience in investor relations / transfer agency / hedge fund operations / alternative investment servicing
- demonstrated ownership of complex client delivery and escalation management
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing a small team (or strong acting-lead experience with clear coaching/mentoring responsibilities)
- Strong understanding of hedge fund structures and investor servicing lifecycle
- comfort supporting secondary PE vehicle requirements as needed
- Proven ability to operate in a controlled environment, identify and mitigate operational risk, and drive disciplined issue management
- Strong written and verbal communication
- ability to influence across Operations, Product, Technology, and Controls and engage credibly with client stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- strong comfort with operational systems and data/reporting tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting both hedge fund and private equity servicing models (or broader alternatives platform exposure)
- Experience leading process improvement and/or technology change initiatives (automation, workflow redesign, data migration)
- Mantra experience (workflow processing, data maintenance, reporting, or oversight)
