Job Summary
Facilitate millions in venture capital funding by connecting portfolio founders to angels and investors through curated introductions, office hours, and deal flow relationships. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for investors, managing long-term engagement while organizing in-person and virtual meetings with relevant startups. Execute key IR programs including Investor Office Hours, onboarding new investors, and launching new initiatives using proprietary software tools. Make over a dozen introductions daily, network with VCs to establish relationships, and attend weekly syncs and monthly First Look events. Work at least 45 hours per week in Texas for a 2+ year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- You have experience with the startup and technology markets.
- You have a basic understanding of startup funding terms, options, and mechanisms.
- You like using data to understand problems and make connections.
- You are organized and plan ahead, but you don't get stressed out when things change at the last minute.
- You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- You have the ability to deliver high quality work, on time, in a dynamic organization under time pressure.
- You are able to work at least 45 hours per week.
- You plan to stay in Texas and fully commit to this position for 2+ years.
