Job Summary
Investor Relations Analyst at Merus supports investor onboarding, capital activity, and reporting across active and prospective investors. Responsibilities include maintaining investor records in the portal, reconciling data across CRM and financial reports, processing capital movements, issuing notices, coordinating treasury requests, assembling quarterly/annual investor reports, assisting with K-1 tax reporting, and supporting investor communications and MA-related materials. The role collaborates with Development, Legal, Marketing, Treasury, and other Real Estate teams, requires accuracy and timeliness, and involves engagement with investors through inquiries, events, roadshows, and presentations. Essential competencies include Nimble Learning, Action Oriented, self-awareness, self-development, trust-building, customer focus, and adherence to structured workflows and SOPs. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of relevant experience, advanced Excel proficiency, and familiarity with investor portals or CRM platforms. Travel to construction sites and related activities are possible as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field required
- 1–3 years of experience in investor relations, real estate, finance, fund administration, accounting, or a related business function
- Advanced Excel proficiency (including lookups, pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting)
- Familiarity with CRM or investor portal platforms such as Juniper Square, DealPath, Yardi, or similar
- Experience in a compliance-driven, audit-sensitive, or regulated reporting environment is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, collaborate across diverse teams
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
