Principal, Investment Team at a VC firm focused on pre-seed/early-stage tech investments. Responsibilities include sourcing exceptional pre-seed founders and deal sources, independently leading diligence from first meeting to investment recommendation, developing investment theses with deep market research across B2B/B2C sectors, spending substantial time on sourcing and pipeline development, supporting portfolio companies post-investment, owning a strategic firm-wide initiative, and representing the firm externally at events and online platforms. Ideal candidate is obsessed with zero-to-one founders, seeks real ownership in driving deals, is comfortable networking and evaluating early-stage opportunities, and can operate across multiple workstreams with strong judgment. Preferred: 2–5 years of related experience, technical background in CS/engineering, strong founder/deal sourcing networks, and willingness to relocate to San Francisco.
