Job Summary
Provide financial and investment planning advice to deliver solutions in the best interests of customers by determining needs and selling managed products like mutual funds and retirement savings plans. Proactively engage with new and existing prospects through needs-based assessments, outbound calling campaigns, and branch referrals to grow loyalty and identify opportunities. Execute work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service while supporting team members to achieve sales and performance targets. Complete complex tasks within rules and limits, including handling escalations, and analyze issues to determine next steps. Maintain current knowledge of personal investment products and trends to integrate strategic advice into customer conversations.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working towards the regulatory / governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment
- Good working knowledge of financial industry
