Job Summary
Provide wealth and investment-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects; advise customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that meet their objectives; achieve sales targets with focus on investment products; handle referrals to other business groups; flexibly communicate in English and Mandarin/Cantonese; support outbound calls and inquiries, maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance, and stay informed on market trends and programs to enhance customer conversations.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services
- Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / CIRO licensed as an Investment Representative preferred
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exams (CIRE) and Derivatives Exam to be completed during specified time to become fully functional
- Verbal & written communication skills in English; Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
- Knowledge of risk management & compliance
- Ability to identify customer needs and advise on wealth/investment strategies
- Sales targets achievement and product referrals
- Regulatory compliance including AML and privacy acts
