Job Summary
Infrastructure Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize Linux-based production infrastructure for mission-critical applications. Responsibilities include automating repetitive tasks, monitoring and optimizing OS performance for low-latency workloads, supporting virtualization and container platforms, participating in server deployments and data center upgrades, developing automation scripts (Python, Shell or similar), ensuring reliability, availability and security of production infrastructure, researching emerging technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
- Strong understanding of operating system performance tuning for low-latency applications
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies
- Experience supporting server hardware, data center deployments, and operating system migrations
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell scripting, or similar languages
- Proven track record of supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly available production environment
