Job Summary
Conduct performance analysis and attribution for absolute and relative portfolio performance, reconciling discrepancies across transaction, position, and pricing levels in Global Performance Measurement and Risk applications. Retrieve, validate, and upload data from vendor systems while maintaining accuracy in departmental analytics tools. Collaborate with Global Performance Measurement, Operations, and IT staff to resolve data issues and develop new analytical reports. Troubleshoot functional and quantitative problems to ensure high-quality report production and maintain best practice workflows. Support team members and portfolio managers by explaining performance calculation processes and auditing procedures. Work flexible hours alongside US-based colleagues during production periods and quarter end escalations.
Required Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree, preferably an MBA in Finance from a reputed institute
- 6 - 8 year post-graduation experience in any financial firm
- Good understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative instruments
- Knowledge of Investment Management industry
- Knowledge of security analysis and portfolio management
- Knowledge of stock exchange markets
- Knowledge of financial markets
- Knowledge of dividends
- Knowledge of trading
- Knowledge of settlements
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Basic MS office skills
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours
- Ability to remain calm during stressful periods
- Ability to work well under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- FRM/CFA/Financial industry related certification
- Experience in Performance Measurement
- Exposure to POINT/Yield book/Factset
