Job Summary
As an Officer you will perform 1st, 2nd and targeted reviews on client financial statements, NQs, Form N-MFP and other regulatory forms, ensure timely regulatory filings, coordinate with multiple departments and offshore partners, and provide coaching and performance feedback. The role emphasizes leadership and risk management, with a focus on automation usage (FundSuite, MCH, Macros) and cross-division coordination to meet tight deadlines while supporting fund accounting, valuation and reporting for mutual funds/hedge funds within a global time overlap (US/APAC/EMEA). Strong emphasis on delivering accurate financial reporting, staff development, and process improvements within State Street Global Services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP/ IFRS etc.
- CA / CPA / ACCA or similar professional qualifications preferred
- Strong technology skills, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience in Mutual Fund/Hedge fund Financial Reporting / accounting or finance field preferred
- 10+ years to 12+ years of experience in related fund financial reporting / accounting or finance field preferred
