Job Summary
Lead the Processing Team in Investment Operations to ensure accurate and timely end-to-end processing for new account openings and ongoing service requests. Drive daily operations, manage NIGO/IGO exception workflows, monitor queues and service metrics, and drive process improvements, documentation, and cross-functional handoffs with Compliance, Controls, custodians, and internal partners. Partner with AOR/Account Changes and other teams to ensure scalable, compliant operating models, with strong emphasis on leadership, coaching, and back-up operational coverage. Proficient use of CRM/case tools, reporting metrics, and a continuous-improvement mindset (standardization, automation, and error reduction). Strong knowledge of financial services operations, regulatory requirements, and investment products; demonstrated ability to mentor teams, analyze root causes, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field OR equivalent financial services operations experience
- 5+ years of investment operations, account opening, service processing, or related experience
- 2+ years of people leadership experience (or demonstrated team-lead responsibilities) in an operational environment
- Preferred FINRA registrations: Series 24 or equivalent; Series 7 or equivalent
- Industry designations: CFP, CPA, MBA
- Lean 6 Sigma or Kaizen certification
