Job Summary
Investment Operations Associate collaborates with financial representatives to deliver comprehensive planning and investment support, including training on planning concepts, preparing and presenting analysis, assembling investment materials (Personal Planning Analysis, Envestnet, Morningstar), coordinating back-office services, documenting case notes, and ensuring adherence to guidelines. The role involves preparing proposals, analyzing strategies, communicating tax consequences and costs, and supporting client presentations while developing licenses (Life/Health and Series 63/6/7) within defined timelines. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential, with experience in financial services and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2-5 years of financial services experience preferred
- Experience with both brokerage and advisory platforms preferred
- Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses to be obtained within the first 3-6 months of employment
- Series 63 and either Series 6 or Series 7 to be obtained within the first 6 months of employment
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to learn various software programs quickly
