Job Summary
Client Operations Associate / Vice President role focused on end-to-end client interactions for investment middle-office services. Responsible for managing client queries across equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives and IBOR, coordinating with Hong Kong and offshore teams to meet daily/weekly/monthly SLAs, supervising daily oversight checks, attending client forums and launches, driving trend analysis for process improvement, enabling automation to enhance efficiency, and delivering client reporting and MI against SLA expectations. Requires university degree, 5+ years in markets, strong product knowledge across custody and trade lifecycles, and bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or above
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in markets as trade/marketing support or related securities services
- Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle in Custody and/or
- Subject matter expertise in Equities, Fixed Income, Cash Markets, OTCs, Exchange Traded Derivatives and general trade lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
- Candidate must have a control focused agenda, and a thorough understanding of program/project risk
- Experience with client-facing involvement and engagement with senior staff in Investor Services
- Proficiency in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
