Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of Strategic Asset Plans and Operating Budgets to optimize performance of a high-value retail asset within a co-ownership structure. Drive active asset management across leasing, development and operations, forecast and optimize NOI and total return, and manage valuation processes to reflect current market dynamics. Influence internal teams, co-investors and external advisors, navigate complex approval processes, and mentor junior team members to foster a high-performance culture. Requires 8+ years of experience in property investment, valuation or asset management, with strong financial acumen and stakeholder negotiation skills. Based in Melbourne, Australia; opportunity to shape asset strategy and drive value in a performance-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Property, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience across property investment, valuation or asset management (circa 8+ years)
- Strong understanding of valuation methodology and experience managing valuation processes
- Proven ability to drive asset performance and deliver value creation outcomes
- Advanced financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience influencing across complex environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear, compelling recommendations
