Job Summary
Public-side Investment Management Paralegal provides end-to-end support for fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance, including managing document checklists, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel, reviewing and drafting fund documents (PPMs, LPAs, Sub Docs), updating ADV materials, overseeing Form D filings and MFN materials, handling EDGAR/Blue Sky processes, billing coordination, and ongoing compliance/tracking of regulatory requirements across fund lifecycles. Strong analytical abilities, legal research skills, proactive problem solving, and discretion with confidential information are essential; must have solid paralegal experience in a corporate legal environment and ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software
- Ability to work independently
