Job Summary
Conduct Annual Strategic Reviews, risk mitigation, and client management for complex managed accounts by acting as Portfolio Advisory Services' voice to the customer. Lead pre- and post-sales conversations to establish expectations on performance, fees, and portfolio construction while identifying additional sales opportunities. Manage a book of 850 clients and approximately $500MM in AUM through joint phone calls with Financial Consultants, focusing on retention and needs-based consultative selling. Requires Series 7 & 66 licenses, 7 years in financial relationship management, and a Bachelor's degree. This role is part of Fidelity's Wealth business unit, transitioning to a full-time onsite working model in Westlake, TX.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses required or ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire
- Hold appropriate state registrations
- Minimum 7 years of financial relationship management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of managed account industry and Fidelity's managed offerings
- Broad-based knowledge and understanding of financial planning, investments, global economics, and the determinants of market movements
- Deep understanding of asset allocation, tax planning, and estate planning
- Demonstrated success in strong needs-based consultative sales skills and client/book management skills
- Excellent time management, organizational, and phone communication skills, coupled with strong decision-making abilities and sound judgment
- Ability to leverage expertise in the managed money industry and Fidelity's product line, including existing and emerging offerings, to deliver solutions aligned with client needs
- Able to handle a book of 850 clients and approximately $500MM in Portfolio Advisory Services (PAS) AUM
- Ability to engage clients in response to their needs while leveraging strong practice management skills
- Fidelity's Onsite Working Model (transitioning to full-time onsite presence)
