Investment Implementation Services Specialist

Job Summary
Onboard new General Partners and manage their relationships throughout the investment process. Coordinate investment execution from the decision-making point forward to ensure timely completion. Liaise with internal stakeholders, including investment teams, compliance, and legal, to facilitate the process. Monitor the progress of the due diligence phase, identifying and addressing potential delays. Prepare documentation for investment decisions, agreements, and compliance requirements. Assist in developing workflows to streamline operations and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. This role supports the Private Markets Investment Implementation team at Mercer, a business of Marsh, facilitating effective communication and minimizing delays during the investment lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in private markets, investment management, or related fields
- Strong understanding of private equity, venture capital, and other private market investment structures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree or professional certification (CFA, CAIA) preferred
