Job Summary
Associate Attorney in Investment Funds practice in Boston. Advises clients on fund formation, fund financing, and fund governance; requires Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited school and MA bar eligibility (or ability to sit for MA bar); 0-3 years of experience in investment funds or related experience; strong research, writing, and analytical skills; fast-paced, multi-project environment. Preferred: experience in investment funds, asset management, or private equity; familiarity with fund formation and governance; experience with clients in financial services; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to sit for the Massachusetts bar)
- 0-3 years of experience in investment funds or related experience in a law firm or financial institution
- Strong academic record and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
