Job Summary
Lead the evaluation and due diligence of private credit managers and strategies (including direct lending, opportunistic credit, structured credit, and specialty finance) and oversee a private credit-focused investment pipeline. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive investment and operational due diligence, preparing detailed due diligence reports with qualitative and quantitative analysis, presenting to internal stakeholders and clients, mentoring and managing junior analysts, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Legal & Compliance, and Corporate Finance. Drive thought leadership and educational materials, contribute to private markets coverage (private equity, real estate, real assets), and monitor portfolio performance and risk.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of total experience in financial services
- 10+ years of experience conducting due diligence on private capital managers
- Fund manager evaluation as primary responsibility at prior firm(s)
- Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Strong written communication skills and ability to present in front of senior professionals
- Able to work independently
