Investment Data Specialist

Job Summary
Manage data deliveries from external and internal providers, investigate and resolve data issues, and partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of investment data. Act as a subject matter expert driving process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client outcomes. Contribute to business initiatives including new product launches, system enhancements, and operational change projects while maintaining high standards of data quality and governance. Build strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and industry partners to support best-practice data management. Work within a global team supporting critical Product and Book of Record data functions across Australian and global fund footprints.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in accounting, finance, economics, or related field)
- Minimum of three years relevant work experience
- Excellent analytical capabilities, research, problem solving, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Data Management procedures
- Strong knowledge of data domain workflows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to build solid business relationships
- Excellent judgment
- Ability to analyze issues quickly and independently to take appropriate action with minimal supervision
- Strong, demonstrated problem identification, analysis, and resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, ambiguous working environment with multiple and diverse responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge and skills using current versions of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Detail oriented
- High level of energy
- Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and within teams
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate other crew members
