Job Summary
Investment & Corporate Banking Associate at Mizuho, involved in design, origination, structuring and execution of financial advisory, global capital markets and syndicated financing for clients in the US and Canada. Responsibilities include extensive quantitative research, financial modeling, due diligence for M&A and financing transactions, valuation analyses, preparing client pitches and marketing materials, assisting in underwriting and deal execution, and cultivating client relationships. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and proficiency with major financial data tools (FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg) and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
- minimum of 3 years corporate finance and capital markets experience with a top tier global bank
- knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
- experience in the general TMT sector
- ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- strong written and oral communication skills
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- advanced proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office
