Investment Consulting Analyst

Investment Consulting Analyst role in Mercer Wealth team based in Hong Kong. Hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Responsibilities include assisting in client portfolio management analysis (asset allocation, investment manager selection, fund performance, risk and attribution analysis), leveraging Mercer’s analytics tools and third-party resources; supporting full-cycle client projects through independent research, data analysis, drafting written reports, preparing proposals, and attending client meetings; contributing to projects through effective task management and leading smaller client deliverables; preparing marketing materials and researching complex inquiries; supporting business development initiatives and proposals; initiating and leading ideas to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls related to assigned work. Requirements include 1+ year of relevant experience, strong academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Sciences or Engineering, CFA or close to completing the charter preferred, strong analytical and technical skills, Excel/PowerPoint/Bloomberg proficiency, VBA or Python a plus, and strong English and Cantonese (Mandarin a plus). The role emphasizes hybrid work with in-office presence and collaboration with a diverse team.
