Job Summary
Leverage the firm's Portfolio Management program to open investment advisory accounts and manage their investment strategy on a discretionary basis. Lead meetings to discuss investment strategy options and performance while supporting Financial Advisors in analyzing portfolios and developing advanced PM solutions. Develop and oversee investment functions including asset allocation models, policy oversight, and performance metrics. Make asset allocation recommendations and critically examine current portfolio holdings when necessary. Develop recommendations for appropriate benchmarks based on client investment objectives. This role operates within the firm's Portfolio Management program and does not sell, manage, or provide recommendations for accounts outside of this specific program.
Required Qualifications
- College degree
- Professional certification
- 10 or more years of relevant work experience
- Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66, or successful completion of Series 7 and Series 66 exams
- Minimum of 5 years FINRA Registration
- Financial industry and product knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable compliance rules and regulations and firm policies
Desired Qualifications
- Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66, or successful completion of Series 7 and Series 66 exams within the time frame provided by applicable company policy
- Additional product licenses
- 10 or more years of relevant work experience
