Job Summary
Senior Investment Banking VP focusing on capital markets, raising capital for clients and providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. Acts as intermediary in trading for clients. Responsible for leading due diligence, drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor/management presentations, and overseeing work by analysts and associates; collaborates with clients, senior team members, and outside advisors on M&A and special situations transactions; supports development of client financing strategies and capital-raising processes.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services/Banking
- Degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking and related products, regulations, lending and credit approval processes
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products
- FINRA Series 79, 63, SIE (current or ability to obtain upon hire)
