Job Summary
Executive Director/VP on J.P. Morgan UK M&A team responsible for acting as primary day-to-day client point of contact on deals, coordinating the analytic work of junior bankers, training, refining marketing/execution materials, overseeing financial projection models, identifying and managing risks, liaising with lawyers/accountants/counterparties, and leading client negotiations with Q&A processes. Requires strong investment banking/M&A experience, adept financial analysis and modeling, excellent communication and project management, and familiarity with UK Takeover Code and Listing Rules. Located in London, UK; role described as full-time and in-person based on description.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant work experience at an investment bank (M&A, industry teams, Leverage Finance)
- Strong academic background
- Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Solid communication and project management skills
- In-depth understanding of investment banking products (can be enhanced and further built through training)
- Understanding of the UK Takeover Code and Listing Rules
- Experience dealing with clients and other transactional advisers
- Proficient in MS Office applications and experience of Bloomberg preferred
