Job Summary
As a Vice President in J.P. Morgan's Security & Resiliency Initiative (SRI) Investment Banking group, lead high-profile transactions across supply chain, defense, energy, and advanced technology sectors. Serve as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals, overseeing execution of mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and capital raises as part of a $1.5 trillion, 10-year commitment. Coordinate with associates and analysts to refine marketing and execution materials, oversee financial projection models and valuation analyses, manage legal and reputational risk, liaise with lawyers and external parties to ensure seamless execution, lead client negotiations and management interviews, and mentor junior bankers to foster a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role
- Demonstrated expertise in executing complex transactions
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with corporates and financial institutions
- Experience in training, mentoring, and managing junior bankers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills including financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis
- Strong understanding of the transaction cycle and ability to manage projects independently
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Professional maturity and confidence in client interactions, negotiations, and presentations
- Excellent understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks
