Job Summary
Associate in JPMorgan's Security & Resiliency Initiative Investment Banking group drives investment execution across supply chain, defense, energy, and advanced technology sectors; develops content for strategic client meetings regarding M&A or capital market transactions; interacts with senior team members and client management daily to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives; defines and reviews detailed valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBOs) and broader analyses for M&A or pitch situations; provides leadership, mentorship, and supervision to Associates and Analysts; participates in graduate recruiting.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Deep understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process; execution-oriented.
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders across the firm.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
