Job Summary
Associate in the Security & Resiliency Initiative (SRI) Investment Banking group drives the full cycle of transactional execution across supply chain, defense, energy, and advanced technology sectors. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial analyses (DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBOs), developing content for strategic client meetings, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations, providing leadership and mentorship to Associates and Analysts, and participating in graduate recruiting. The role emphasizes leadership in executing transactions and effective collaboration with analysts, associates, and senior bankers, with broad exposure to M&A and capital markets activities and interaction with senior clients.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Deep understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process; execution-oriented
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders across the firm
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
